Chris comes to the Foundation from the sports industry, and has held a number of roles internationally in sales, operations and HR. He is responsible for the daily operations of the Foundation.
Chris led the “Soccer In The Community” efforts at the Chicago Fire FC for a number of years, building a number of programs designed to increase access and participation of young people in the sport. During his time in Chicago, he also co-chaired the Young Associates Board at the Positive Coaching Alliance, a non-profit designed to improve the level of youth sports coaching across the US. After leaving the Chicago Fire, he joined an international sports recruitment company, and was responsible for the recruitment and training of new staff.
Chris truly believes in the benefits of living an outdoor life and spends as much time as possible in the hills around his home. He is an avid trail runner, hiker and open water swimmer.
Chris holds a BA Honours Degree from the University of Durham in the U.K.
