Chris comes to the Foundation from the sports industry, and has held a number of roles internationally in sales, operations, and HR.
During his time in Chicago, where he and Jim first met, Chris spent a number of years leading the Soccer In The Community efforts at the Chicago Fire FC, building programs designed to increase access and participation of young people in soccer. He was also co-chair of the Young Associates Board at the Positive Coaching Alliance, a non-profit designed to improve the level of youth sports coaching across the US. After leaving the Chicago Fire, he joined an international sports recruitment company, and was responsible for the recruitment and training of new staff.
As a true believer in the benefits of living an outdoor life, Chris finds joy in spending as much time as possible in the hills around his home. He is an avid trail runner, hiker, and open water swimmer.
Chris holds a BA Honours Degree from the University of Durham in the U.K.
