Some of our giving takes the form of grants. Through our grants program, we act in support of
quantitative solution providers with expertise in subject matters of particular interest to the foundation.
It is imperative that your work be project-based with metrics that are already planned and established; not created for the purpose of this application. Discussion of data gathering techniques, report-outs, and how you define success is key.
Beyond the time and effort of the grant application process, we do not wish to create any extra or incremental work for your organization. Our only aim is to “plug-in” and better understand.
Examples include:
- Grants to individuals.
- Grants for re-gifting or re-granting purposes.
- Grants to further political doctrine.
- Activities, projects, or programs that will have been completed before funding becomes available (no retroactive funding).
- Endowments, capital campaigns, or other reserve funds.
- Debt retirement.
- Membership or affiliation campaigns, dinners, or special events.
- Conferences, symposia and the like, and related travel.
Generally, once per year we will open our grant process for a period not to exceed 60 calendar days. During this time both new and follow-on year applications will be accepted. The opening will be announced via an email blast to our contact list.
Beyond the announcement of the opening of the application process itself, the foundation provides no official timelines and makes no guarantees of funding for either new applicants or returning grantees.
